#ThatBlackCouple Ep 30 – “Black Healing and Trauma During COVID-19”

In the first segment “First Things First,” Jenn and Daren talk about how important it is to take lessons from the past year or two since COVID-19. For Black people, this time has shown us exactly how anti-Black and white supremacist these institutions are and how they often harm Black life.
In the second segment, “The Conversation,” Daren shares the data about the increased vulnerability of Black folx and other people of color during the COVID-19 crisis. Jenn explains how this disproportionate marginalization must be addressed through healing justice for ourselves and our communities.
In the third segment, “The Reflection,” Jenn and Daren share what they have been doing to practice healing and self-care in their own lives.
